Never Too Far Gone

Happy Sunday you beautiful and amazing person reading this! ❤️ I hope last week was amazing for you! Mine seriously was pretty good, but this coming week is a big week for us with a wedding coming up on Saturday for my adopted sister! How exciting it is going to be!!! But enough about me lets dive into this weeks blog! Never too far gone! My amazing sister in law has been playing this song by Jordan Feliz and I ended up getting it and it just became so strong on my heart to do a blog with it. Here are the beginning lyrics…..

I have loved you from the start
I have seen your hurting heart
And you feel so lonely,
But you keep on hiding
‘Cause you feel so guilty
For what you’ve done,
But there’s no distance too far,
That I can’t reach you
There’s no place that’s so dark,
That I can’t find you
Anywhere that you are,
If you need proof take a look at these scars.
Doesn’t matter, doesn’t matter,
Doesn’t matter what you’ve done
You are never, you are never,
Never too far gone.

The moral is obvious I guess but it’s that no matter what, you are never to far gone to turn to Jesus. Turn to Him and let Him heal your heart and your scars. He’s there standing with wide open arms just for YOU! Yes You!! I know most who probably read my blogs already know Him, but my hearts desire is for all of you is to really know Him. Also to know exactly where you are going. It would simply hurt my heart if I sat here always encouraging y’all but never gave anyone the opportunity to actually experience God and have Him in your heart. It is one of the simplest things you’ll ever do! You may have never asked Him in or maybe have strayed hence You Are Never Ever To Far From Gone From Him!!

Romans 10:13 says “for whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. I sooooo love this verse probably one of my favorites because it doesn’t matter what your past looks like at all God truly cares about where you are going and wants to be on that journey with you and to bless you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ever ask or think! His plans for us is to prosper and live an amazing life and help lead others to Him. Just by being a light unto others or doing whatever it is He has called you to do. So I’m here today to help you and encourage you and promise you that you ARE NOT and I repeat ARE NOT!! To far gone! So if that’s you today I just want to help you right now accept Him as yours and pray over you and with you! In Romans 10:9-10 it simply says “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved”. So that is what we are gonna do I’ll do it with you with every word I type out. So, believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, out loud, this prayer.

“Dear Heavenly Father
I come before you today and I thank you
That you sent your son Jesus
To die on the cross for my sins.
I now confess that Jesus is Lord of my life
Holy Spirit sir, please lead and direct me
the rest my life I thank you
for my new home in Heaven
in Jesus name I pray
Amen”
Viola! That’s it!! Easy peasy right? Yes! Now time to start digging into His Word so it fills your heart so you will have the strength, knowledge and power to stand up against the devil when he tries to come up against you. Matthew 6:33 says “but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you!!! Eeeek yay!!! Haha I’m so excited for you!!! If you have already prayed this prayer and know Him, I simply ask you to pray and believe with me the every heart that is changed by praying this prayer will be touched. That people will come into these people’s lives to help them and encourage them on their journey to getting closer to Him!!! Thank y’all and love y’all and that’s a wrap for this Sunday haha! So here’s to y’all!  May your cups be full of coffee/ Starbucks and may your week be filled with joy, happiness and a little Grace and Style!

The Struggle Is Real

Hey Beautiful Ladies, and if there are any gentlemen that read this, haha! I am back and ready to get back at this blogging thing I like so much. It has been a whirlwind of a few weeks and before I knew it, it was and is April! Time flies when you’re having fun and are super busy, but back to the routine of things-ish! This week’s blog is titled “The Struggle Is Real!” Oh how many times have I heard this or even used this saying in my own life. When I got up on Friday morning I was dealing with some struggles in my mind, in my heart and physically. One being, I did not want to physically get up and get out of bed! Can I get an Amen! Haha!  Number two, I did not want to go outside and workout, at all. I had to tell myself, I can do this,  Hannah you can do this, Hannah get up and get to it! See the struggle. So, I threw on my work out clothes, tennis shoes, grabbed my head phones, and out the door I went. My head knew I needed to work out, but my heart wasn’t into it at all. Slowly, but surely, every step I took got easier and easier and the music started to inspired me. Then came the song that I ended up putting on repeat, “Broken Places” by Plumb on her Exhale album.

plumb
Like I had said, I was dealing with some things on my heart and in my mind. I was feeling like I wasn’t quite enough and wasn’t good enough. (Basically having a pity party in my mind, lol) The first thing I ended up doing during this workout was recognize that, that was a huge lie! We are more than enough because of who we are in Christ and who He wants us to be. We tend to get stuck in the worldly views and tend to forget that sometimes, hence the pity parties! I recently read a quote and it said, “There will always be someone who can not see your worth. Don’t let it be You!” So, I recognized the lie that the devil was trying to bring into my life and as the song began to play the first verse and chorus. This is when my mindset began to slowly change, and so did my heart. Here are the lyrics to the first verse and chorus that began to fill my mind and heart.

It says…
“I trust You to heal
I trust You to save
So I’ll trust You enough To get out of the way
To come where I am
To silence my doubt
So I’ll forfeit my plans
And let Yours play out
You are strong
In the broken places
I’m carried in Your arms
You are strong
In the broken places
There’s healing in these scars”

Those words touched my heart in such I way I began to feel strengthened! We have to remind ourselves who we are and who we belong to. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly.” So when “The struggle seems real”, in your life take the time to pause and remember that the devil is a liar and doesn’t want you happy or to succeed. He likes to see you fail and constantly struggling. Jesus says I have come that you may have life (a happy, amazing, successful one) and live more abundantly. So let all those fears and insecurities fade away and remember He is strong in the broken places and carries you in His arms. He is strong enough to heal your scars, if you let Him!

So needless to say, I am so glad I got up and worked out so I could get filled back up. So, I could attack the rest of the day! Well, after some coffee and I still kind of wanted to go back to bed! Hehe! The moral of today’s blog, is don’t let what is going on around you pull you down and don’t let the fears and insecurities take you over. Stand up and Be Fearless! War for yourself and the life God has for you! You are made in His image (Genesis 1:27) and have all the grace and style at the tips of your fingers! Don’t forget that! I love y’all and I love being able to share my ahh-ha moments with you. I hope they encourage you to stay strong and stay inspired on whatever journey of life you may be going through. We learn and inspire each other! (Iron Sharpens Iron) So, know today that YOU are more than enough and sometimes you just need to take a moment and a breath and be still and know that He is God!

Hannah Leigh
