Let’s Get To Know Bobbie A Little Better…

I am not sure where to begin with this beautiful lady! Not only is she an amazing fashionista but she’s an amazing friend. She’s my bestie of  about 13 years now and it’s hard to come up with the right words sometimes to just describe everything she means to me, my family and my life! But this is not a sappy time so let’s get down to the fashion and the last lady on this year’s countdown.

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
B: Watching my husband and others compete. Spending time with great friends. Eating awesome food and wearing some amazing pieces.

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?
B: Velvet, leather, fur and custom hats are a few of my favorites. I’m excited to wear those pieces and looking forward to seeing how others put their personal spin on them. Haley Corkill already set the bar so high here in a velvet jumpsuit and fur, it was perfection!

IMG_7309

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
B: Obviously the rodeo. If you can find tickets it’s definitely a must. The atmosphere is great in the Thomas and Mack! If it’s your first time here, walking the strip and checking out the different hotels can be fun. As far as shopping goes you literally could shop ‘till you drop. The trade shows are incredible plus Fashion Show mall, the Forum Shops, and the outlets. If you are bringing kids, the aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Circus Circus, Top Golf and dummy roping at the trade shows are a few fun things for them to do.

H: What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?
B:
Blister Block, it’s a life saver. It’s difficult to look chic when your feet hurt. Also Emergen-C is a good thing to have with you. And if you are in Vegas for awhile a humidifier for your room.

H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?
B: Just have fun with your style. There’s no rules, no competition. Wear what you want and have a great time!

H: What is your favorite place to eat?
B: Craft for steak, it’s incredible. Shake Shack is my favorite burger place. Capprioti’s for the Bobbie sandwich. I have a whole list of taco places I’ve tried and want to try. We also eat a lot of In N Out, Chipotle and Cafe Rio. I’ve been here a few days and I’ve ate at Nacho Daddy twice already, it’s so good. I plan on eating some great sushi while I’m here. Plus I’ll cook a few nights at the room and invite some friends over!

Y’all fyi these food choices I can say for sure are ahh-mazing! Bobbie thank you so much for taking the time to be on this year’s Countdown 2 Vegas! If y’all want to keep up with all her fashion and style advice be sure to follow along with her Instagram account! Countdown 2 Vegas- The Western Atelier

3rd Annual Countdown 2 Vegas- 0 Days Part 1
Featuring Fashionista
The Western Ateleir
Brandi Michelle

Let’s Get To Know Brandi A Little Better…

7756[1]

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
B: This year I am most looking forward to seeing the final product of everyone’s hard work from bloggers to influencers to rodeo athletes and rodeo wives. It seems that every year the fashion game is stepped up and more and more is planned and put in motion which is absolutely amazing for everyone involved. Everyone has worked tirelessly throughout the year to step up their game, plan and implement more fashion shows, fashion events, and things to participate in and attend. I cannot WAIT to see the amazing outfits everyone has put together and get to show off my own at the same time! I want to take as many photos with everyone as possible! The talent in the rodeo world is also ever increasing, which means the athletes also have to step up their game. They have all worked so hard to get to this point and equally deserve the spotlight…It takes a village!

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?

B: I am most looking forward to the “un-trend”…the people who have stepped outside the trends and put together something that is totally new and out of the box. True to myself, I think avant garde style is so much fun and limitless! However, if I had to pick  favorite trend, I absolutely love that non-traditional hats are still in full swing! I love seeing the variations of hat bands, hat pins, colors, shapes, styles, and more!

6665

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
B: One of my most favorite things to do while I am in town is to ride the Slotzilla Zip Line at Fremont Street! There are two options, a lower line that you can ride in a sitting position and a high line that you can ride laying down in a “superman” position. I love the highline and if you catch it just right, you get to experience the LED light show to music of Fremont Street above your head! I also enjoy visiting the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, especially when you need to step away from the “bright lights of Vegas” and wind down a little bit.

H: What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?

B: I couldn’t say there is a “must” one way or another since everyone has different tastes. If you are in town for the NFR, a must is to wear comfortable shoes for sure! My advice would be to go to at least one rodeo performance at the Thomas and Mack to experience it live. Walk around and see as much of what Las Vegas has to offer during this fun time. Check out all of the shopping from Cowboy Christmas to The Sands to Mandalay Bay, check out a concert at The Mirage, attend an NFR viewing party at the MGM, wander down to Fremont Street at night, cheer on your favorite contestant at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant, and take in a fashion show! Do it all, but do it in comfortable shoes or your favorite pair of boots!

H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?

B: The best piece of advice I could give from my own experience is to dress comfortable, casual, yet add your own style to your “daytime” look when you are taking in everything Vegas has to offer. As the afternoon rolls into the evening, head back to your room, take your shoes off for a few minutes, then get your glam on! All that walking can you leave you feeling hot, sweaty, and tired. Save your best and most favorite looks for evenings.

7023

H: What is your favorite place to eat?

B: This is SUCH a hard questions because there are so many amazing places and I am finding new amazing places every year! For a casual bite, I absolutely love the restaurant, I Heart Burgers. They have everything from gourmet to everyday and they even stamp their logo of I Heart Burgers into every bun! If I had to pick somewhere for an evening meal, I love just about any sushi restaurant, but my favorite thus far has been Morimoto inside the MGM. Again, this a tough question! Every year I try to dine at restaurants I haven’t been to yet…never know when you’ll find a new favorite!

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
C:
I am beyond excited to see as much of Cowboy Christmas as possible! There are so many people I’ve met this year via social media and I’m really looking forward to meeting many of them in person.  And of course to watch the World’s best rodeo athletes!

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?
C:I love to look at fashion and see people’s personalities expose themselves through what they wear. I am personally in love with all things fur and tooled leather. Plus it’s Vegas so everything will be done with as much glam as possible.

IMG_7120

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
C:
I’m in love with The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace so that visit is always on the to-do list! There are so many amazing stores and restaurants; it’s definitely a one stop shop for the best food and shopping Vegas has to offer.

H:What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?
C: The High Roller Wheel at the Linq. At night it’s an incredible view and can be a little thrilling for those of you like myself that are afraid of heights.

H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?
C:
Make sure you rep your own style! We all have our own flavor and it can be overshadowed by the major trends! Whatever you wear, be you and wear it with confidence! Confidence is 90% of an outfit.

H: What is your favorite place to eat?
C: Hash House a Go Go. Best breakfast anywhere! I’m a morning girl so breakfast tends to be my most important and favorite meal. This place is fun, loud music, cool servers, and great food. Reminds me a little of my own kitchen.

Fyi follow her accounts posted after the this interview to see last nights amazing fashion from the Back Number Ceremony!

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
T: The deep breath I get to take after my boyfriend ropes the first calf. Ha! Not sure why but every year the first nigh is the only night I’m nervous. After that I’m looking forward to having fun and seeing all the great fashion!

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?
T: Apparently velvet is going to be trending because when I started packing I found that I had about 5 cranberry colored velvet items. As most things do velvet had what I like to call, it’s “soft release” last year. That’s the year a few people wear something and then it catches on the next year. So I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of velvet in Vegas! or maybe just on me who knows. 😄

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
T: Tuf and I don’t get much down time while we’re there for the finals. The times we’ve been there throughout the year we’ve gone to the indoor skydiving which was fun and we always make a shopping trip to Caesars forum shops.

H: What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?
T: A good pair of flats! During the day I let my feet rest in a comfortable pair of shoes. This year I packed a lot of Miss Maci boots so my feet won’t be hurting at all.

IMG_3503

H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?
T: Wear whatever you want!!! Who cares! It’s Vegas and we have to wear boots and dirty jeans all year. This is the time we get to dress nice and not have to worry about getting horse poop or shaving all over us.

H: What is your favorite place to eat?
T: Craft Steak house at the MGM Grand.

Tiffany thank you girl so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to be a part today. I am grateful for you and everyone who has been a part of this Countdown. Countdown to Vegas- Bayou Boho Babe

3rd Annual Countdown 2 Vegas- 4 Days
Featuring The Bayou Boho Babe

Kailye Smith

unnamed

Let’s here what this fun fashionista has to say!

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
K: The western industry’s largest fashion event ever, of course. I am looking forward to meeting some of the most influential icons in western fashion, checking out this years fashion trends, and coming home with more items than I left with. Oh, and the rodeo

 😜.

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?
K:
Fringe and sequins. I believe this will be a huge year for more fringe and sequins than ever, and I can’t wait. I also love vintage, so you’ll find me trending some of my vintage finds throughout the
week.

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
K: Don’t miss out on Cowboy Christmas, Fremont Street (because I’m old school), the shops at The Sands where you’ll find the Ritzy Gypsy Booth (Booth 644), and stop by the WNFR Go Round Buckle Presentations at the South Point for Cody Johnson (Its worth the late night, I promise).

H: What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?
K: Comfortable shoes, I learned the hard way. Do yourself the favor. I know that normally you don’t bring “comfortable and casual” to Vegas, but you can thank me later.

unnamed (1)
H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?
K: Dress 5x more exciting than your greatest night out back home. Wear those boots you never get to wear back home, the hats you bought for that one photo and never wore again, and accessorize until you weigh 5 lbs more 😉 .

H: What is your favorite place to eat?
K: For a nice dinner and the best view of the strip (If, and only if, you are not afraid of heights) – Top of the World Restaurant located in the Stratosphere Hotel. Beer Park at the Pairs Hotel for some of the best burgers on the strip.

Kailye thank you so much for being a part of this year’s countdown! You are completely amazing I just adore your style! I also love your style advice haha!  If y’all want to keep up with Kailye and her journey follow her account listed below. Only 4 more days y’all eeek!!!

Countdown 2 Vegas- Alexis Bloomer

3rd Annual Countdown 2 Vegas- 6 Days
Featuring The Lady That Can Do Anything
Alexis Bloomer

alexis2

First, off if you do not know this amazing lady you will want to! She is not only CEO of Breaking Records Media, she is an author, journalist, obviously a gorgeous model, an amazing role model, creator of the #GoodGirlMovenment. Well she’s just stellar and can do anything she puts her mind too! I am so grateful we became friends over promoting kindness and trying to help others become who they are meant to be by being themselves! Check out her advice and favorite places!

H: What are you looking forward to at this year’s Wrangler NFR?
A: I am so excited because my book, Good Girl, Bad World is launching at the WNFR! This is always the most exciting time of the year because 1) I get to watch Sage compete and I know how hard he has worked throughout the year 2) I love getting to see all my friends are be ‘neighbors’ with them for a week and lastly, I love the fashion and the glam of Las Vegas!

H: What trends are you looking forward to seeing this year?
A: Personally, I love that the styles are becoming classic and elegant again. I feel like we have seen a shift in fashion over the past few months and I’m hoping to see a lot of velvet, satin and feathers. I feel like timeless pieces always make the biggest statement.

H: What is a must see or do in Las Vegas?
A: The Fountains at Bellagio are so iconic to me, I love hearing the water flow to the beat of the music. Also, my favorite mall is in Vegas, Cesar’s Palace Forum Shops, they are so upscale and fun. Even if you don’t shop, the architecture is amazing. Most importantly, the rodeo! That’s why we’re all in Vegas, so take the time to celebrate our Western Heritage at the Thomas and Mack!

H: What is a must have for first timers in Vegas?
A:
I’m in Vegas for over 15 days during the WNFR and I have some necessities: Zostrix Foot Cream (It is a miracle cream that takes away all foot pain), Water (sounds crazy but with the busy days, it is easy to get dehydrated) and a humidifier for your hotel room (Sage swears by this and it has been a live saver every year, a worthy investment).

alexis

H: What is 1 piece of style advice for Vegas?
A: Just be yourself. You don’t have to wear things that are in style, it’s important to embrace being one of a kind. Vegas celebrates uniqueness, so don’t try to blend in. This is the one time of the year when you’re allowed to be authentic and your authenticity will be celebrated.

I love when women have the courage to not follow the trends and instead they wear what they feel most confident in—that is what fashion is all about.

H: What is your favorite place to eat?
A: I love MGM room service breakfast (it is honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had, no judgement please), but I also love Carmine’s in the Forum Shops and Wolfgang Puck at the MGM Grand.

Alexis I can not thank you enough for taking the time out of your busy schedule to be a part! If y’all have not heard yet she will be signing and releasing her newest book God Girl, Bad World. Check out her social media accounts posted below to see where she will be. 7 days until we here that sweet National Anthem and watch the first horse buck!
